I was overwhelmed on entering Bali Villa Ocean by the pure beauty of its location. Uniquely sitting on its own headland surrounded by beaches on both sides. The days were spent surfing at Echo Beach and relaxing by the villa pool overlooking the ocean. We were fascinated and mesmorised by the numerous variety of finches that visited the pool for a quick splash and drink. From the villa you can watch the local villagers go about their day fishing, play on the beach or holding ceremonies. At night all you could hear was the sound of waves crashing against the rocks. It was the most peaceful villa I have ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly and gave us great insight into local culture. The food was outstanding being true balinese cuisine. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a true escape and wanting to experience the real local delights of Bali. A place I will never forget.
