Villa Ocean is located in the traditional fishing village of Seseh beach on Bali’s south-western coast.
Encompassed by nature, within peaceful rural surroundings, it is a thirty minutes’ drive from the fashionable shops, world-class restaurants and vibrant nightspots of Seminyak, and about a forty-five minutes’ drive from Bali’s International Airport. It is a fifteen-minute car journey from Nirwana Golf Course, one of the best golf courses in Asia; and close to Tanah Lot, Bali’s most dramatic and venerated sea temple. The majority of the island’s tourist attractions are also within easy reach.
The approach to the villa is by way of a country lane marked by an ancient, holy banyan tree. Emerald rice fields line the road as it meanders through an avenue of coconut palms. Colourful temple ceremonies, together with farmers in conical hats riding rusty old upright bicycles, are a common sight – the rural life of Seseh village has not been dented by tourism.
